As a peer-based organization, we believe in partnering with each survivor we come into contact with wherever they may be on their journey of healing. In our efforts to do this we created The Bee Box and our Annual SC Survivors Summit.

THE BEE BOX

Sitting in a cold waiting room, trembling with fear as one contemplates disclosing their abuse is never a vision one would desire to have, but this is often the reality for survivors of abuse and violence. The Bee Box was designed to support survivors who disclose in public settings such as healthcare settings, police stations, schools, or churches. The Bee Box has been uniquely designed to provide aid and support as a survivor embarks on their journey of healing, consisting of a grounding tool, tea for care and wellness, powerful affirmations written by fellow survivors, and an all-natural room enhancer spray.

CUMBRE ANUAL DE SOBREVIVIENTES DE SC

En respuesta a la necesidad de establecer una comunidad, compartir recursos y educación entre los sobrevivientes de agresión sexual y violencia de pareja, y avanzar en nuestro campo de práctica, se lanzó la Cumbre de Sobrevivientes de Carolina del Sur en 2017.
La Cumbre de Sobrevivientes de Carolina del Sur, que se celebra anualmente en abril durante el Mes de Concientización sobre la Agresión Sexual, es una iniciativa estatal para aumentar la participación y fomentar la comunidad entre los sobrevivientes y los profesionales en el campo; construir una comunidad entre los sobrevivientes y los defensores y brindar sesiones de aprendizaje atractivas, autorreflexivas e interactivas diseñadas para mejorar el bienestar fÃsico, mental y emocional de los sobrevivientes e informar los servicios proporcionados por los defensores y aquellos que trabajan de cerca con ellos.
Con más de 150 participantes de todo Carolina del Sur, la cumbre continúa fortaleciéndose cada año e impactando y empoderando las vidas de sobrevivientes y profesionales.
